Returns and Exchange Policy
At Imani Maison, we understand the importance of getting the perfect garment for your special occasion. However, due to the custom-made nature of many of our pieces, we do not accept returns or refunds on most items.
No Returns or Refunds
- The majority of our products are made-to-order, so we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds.
- Sale items are also final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Once an order is placed it cannot be canceled.
Exchanges
- On select products, we do offer the option to exchange your item. This will be clearly stated in the product description.
- To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be in its original, unworn condition with all tags and packaging intact.
- Exchanges must be requested within 14 working days of receiving the original order.
Faulty Items
- If your item arrives with a manufacturer's defect, please contact us within 7 working days, providing detailed images of the issue.
- We will work with you to find a suitable resolution, which may include an exchange, repair or store credit, at our discretion.
- After 7 working days, we can no longer accept returns or exchanges for faulty items.
BESPOKE/ CUSTOM ORDER
Orders and Payment:
A non-refundable deposit is required upon placing an order for a bespoke gown. This is usually 40-60% of the total amount quoted and the deposit secures your order and allows us to begin the production process.
Consultation fees are non-refundable and cover the time and expertise of our design team.
The remaining balance of your order must be paid in full before shipment or delivery.
Production and Shipping:
We will make every effort to complete your gown by the agreed-upon date. However, we cannot be held liable for any delays in production or shipping that are beyond our control.
We are not responsible for any lost items or damage incurred during shipping or transportation. We recommend considering insurance for valuable shipments.
All payments made are non-refundable If you fail to complete your FULL payment, you will forfeit your deposit, shipping fees, and any subsequent payments made.
Bespoke Garments:
As all our garments are individually tailored to your specifications and measurements, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please review all details carefully before confirming your order.
Any alterations or adjustments needed upon receiving your gown are the customer's responsibility.
Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges on items delivered to shipping companies or freight forwarders. Deliveries to these third parties are at the customer's own risk.
